WE GOT HER AND PUT IN A 64' 389 FROM BIG CAR, MUNCI M21 4 SP. AND HOOKED UP THE FRONT BRAKES. WE ALSO BOUGHT NEW ALUMN RADIATOR SINCE PHOTOS WERE TAKEN. IT DOES DRIVE AND SHIFTED GEARS SMOOTH. STOPS GOOD WITH THE NEW DUAL RESEVOIR MASTERCYL. ALSO HAS NEW FLY WHEEL, NEW MUFFLERS, NEW PLUGS, WIRES, CAP, POINTS, OIL AND FILTER AND A GAS FILTER. CLUTCH IS GOOD AS NEW. THE 389 IS A 64 ENGINE BUT IS A 2BBL AND FROM A BIG CAR. I HAVE A CAST IRON 4 BBL INTAKE FOR 100.00. TRANS NOT ORIGINAL BUT VERY GOOD AND THE REAREND HAD BEEN CHANGED BUT I THINK IT IS A 323 NON POSI AS IT CAME WITH. THIS CAR DECODES TO A NOCTURNE BLUE WITH DARK BLUE INTERIOR WITH BUCKET SEATS, M20 4 SPEED AND CLOCK. NO TACK. THE BODY IS REALLY SOLID EXCEPT TRUNKLID LIP, REAR OF QUARTERS AND TRUNK PAN. PLUS A COUPLE OTHER SMALL SPOTS LIKE THE SIDE OF TOP ON THE LEFT HAS A 1 INCH RUST HOLE AND THERE MIGHT BE A COUPLE SPOTS ONCE PREPPED AT BOTTOM OF WINDSHIELD. THE 2 REAR INNER FENDERS HAVE 3 SMALL AREAS. THE FRAME IS SOLID, HOOD FROM TEMPEST IS SOLID, FENDERS AND INNER FENDERS, FIRE WALL, ALL THE FLOORS ARE SOLID, HAS SOLID DOORS, ROCKERS, AND TAIL PAN. COMES WITH SHORT PATCH PANEL FOR THE VERY REAR LEFT QUARTER . CAR ALSO DOES COME WITH NEW TRUNK PAN IN THE BOX, PICTURED. I HAVE A TEMPEST TRUNKLID THAT HAS A 1 INCH AREA ON LIP THAT WILL PROBABLY END UP AS A HOLE IF DIPPED. IF BUYER PREFERS IT OVER THE ORIGINAL WE WILL SWAP OUT. ONE PHOTO SHOWS ORIGINAL PAIR OF HOOD VENTS AND THAT LITTLE CHROME PIECE IS THE FINGER PULL FOR GAS FILL DOOR. IT NEEDS RIVITED BACK ON. THE INTERIOR IS ORIGINAL AND NOT BAD. HEADLINER IS NO GOOD. THE GLASS IS GOOD AND WINDOWS WORK. THE LIGHTS AND TURN SIGS WORK ALONG WITH BRAKE LIGHTS. FRONT TURN SIG ON LEFT NEEDS A SOCKET. THE GAS GAGE APPEARS TO WORK AND THE ADDED OIL PRESSURE GAUGE. SPEEDO NEEDS A CABLE. THIS IS BASICALLY A COMPLETE CAR THAT RUNS AND DRIVES. OVER 80 PHOTOS POSTED LAST ONE IS THE PHS THAT GOES WITH CAR. THE 64 GTO IS THE HARDEST TO FIND SO DON'T MISS OUT.
