Car is in great cosmetic shape inside and out Owned by same family since new Clear Title My brother purchased this car new in 1991 and drove it for 11 years. During that time it was always kept inside the garage when not being driven. The car sat in the garage for 8 years after that and was started infrequently but was not really driven. I got the car in April of 2010. I checked the car over and replaced all of the fluids and filters. the battery and performed a complete tune up. I drove the car approximately 350 miles to get it home and it performed great and got 22+ mpg. After a year or so the car started using a lot of gas and a year or so later it stopped running. I surfed the web to see what problems most people were having with these cars and decided to replace the fuel injectors. The car ran after that. but not very well. I have since changed out the O2 sensor. the MAP unit. the idle/air valve and the fuel filter. The car runs okay at times and at times it hardly runs at all. Sometimes it starts right up and then other times if will not start and run. The headliner has been replaced and the rear quarter panels and sun visors have been re-upholstered and the interior looks great. Some of the photos make the upholstery appear to be different colors but the entire interior is a light gray. The car has been owned by a non-smoker since new. The exterior is complete and there is no filler and no rust in the car. There is some damage to the lower air dam under the front of the car. The damage is not visible unless you kneel down and look under the car. Everything on the car works except for the following. The rear view mirror is off the windshield. I have everything you need to re-attach it. The left rear brake wheel cylinder has a slow leak. I have a new one but have not yet put it on. The new wheel cylinder comes with the car. One of the headlights is burned out. I have a new bulb but have not replaced it. The AC does work. but it needs charging at this time. I had it charged and the AC worked for a couple of years and now I am sure it has leaked down. It takes R-12 and it is very expensive to have it charged. Since I do not drive it much I have not had it recharged. The car has an AM/FM/Cassette. The radio works fine. but I cannot get a cassette to play. NOTE. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT A CASUAL BUYER PURCHASE THIS CAR AS A DAILY DRIVER. It would be best for someone who works on their cars and who wants a Gen III FireBird. This car looks great inside and out and just needs the mechanicals sorted out. I have too many automotive related projects and other projects as well and do not have enough time for this one. I have the original window sticker. the owner's manual and a factory shop manual. All of that comes with the car. I have clear title to the car. I will work with the buyer on paperwork for your state and on meeting a shipper if required.
