Short history about my TTA:
It is a Festival Car, number 118 of a total of 162.
It's one of the 100 that was sold to GM employees in 1989, all of them were sold to a fixed price of $32,954.The second owner bought it in 1998 and modified if for more than $20.000.I bought it in California, march 2004.
I'm the third owner and used the car between 2004 and 2007, I drove it for about 1000 miles during those years and I put down at least another $10.000 in parts, new fuel system, hood etc etc.
2007 I moved away from my home town up north in Sweden and the car stayed there and haven't been touched since then.
The things on my list to fix on the car 10 years ago was:- Replace the ignition switch, sometimes it worked, sometimes not.- Replace the crank case gasket.- Rebuild the transbrake, it's still worked but it has started to slip.
Now the car haven't been used in 10 years so I would recommend that everything needs to be checked, change all fluids etc. before starting it up.
I got lots of extra parts for it, like original intercooler, set of two (original looking but 15") rims with M/T tires, one spare rim without tire and so on. Got lots of documentationand boxes filled with stuff that I haven't looked into for the past 10-12 years. I'm including everything that I can find.
Original floor mat is intact, but they are not in the car cause of the roll cage. The cage is welded in, but I was planning on removing it and put back all the original interior. I also got the original hood for the car.
