1964 Pontiac Lemans 2 door hardtopOne of the few original 1964 Lemans 2dr coupes left that haven't been turned into a fake/clone GTO with Tri-Power. If you look at production figures. there must be 3 times the number of " GTO's " around now than were ever made in the first place which makes this numbers matching original car more rare than a GTO. This is a numbers matching. 215 c. i. 6 cyl. automatic. ps. pb. riginal Pontiac Lemans. The interior and weatherstripping were redone about 5 years ago with reproduction Ames interior parts ( except the dash pad which is not yet reproduced but you can have it repaired - there is one crack ) . It still looks good. The car had a respray a number of years ago - same color over same color due to the older paint fading from the FL sun and having a few dings on the side from car show participants who were not careful. There is no rust that I can see anywhere and the floors and trunk are solid. There are some photos of the underside here but if you need more let me know. The car starts right up. runs well ( have taken it on lots of long distance trips up to 2000 miles ). Everything was done to make the car a nice reliable and good looking driver ( this is not a restored show car trailer queen - if that is what you want you will have to pay much much more). This is a very nice looking car you can be proud to own. drive and show at your local shows or cruise ins. if you like. but it is a driver meant to enjoy and not a show car. Likewise if you want to make a fake GTO. once you buy it. you can do what you want with it. This is a 50 year old used car sold as/ is. where is with no warranties at all.
