1978 Firebird Trans Am Fisher T-tops

Original Gold on Gold car. Bought it on Ebay in 2010. Restored it over 3 years. When I bought it it came with a 350 Pontiac engine. The block was cracked. but the 1971 heads were good. I bought a slightly used rebuilt 400. . 60 over and checked it out and installed it with 350 heads and all new components. Has a posi-trac with at least a 308 gear ratio. It left two long tread marks when I floored it from dead stop. Definitely not the 273 gears. Launched way to fast with just above stock cam. Car ran for about 4 months. 000 approximate miles. then engine blew. Car was rolled into garage. Block on 400 was cracked. Planned on rebuilding 455 and keeping it. I have decided to sell it. Got a valve job done on the 1971 350 heads. They have higher compression ratio and rate at 250 HP. # 94 on center of heads. The 455 block looks to be in good shape. Needs to be vatted and checked out. 455 crank and caps. I stripped entire car and refinished. Sprayed Eastwood rust converter inside rockers. heelwells. rame interior. tc. Stripped all panels and epoxy primed. Then followed with a 6 step blocking process. From 80 to 600 grit. Car is super straight. (Minus one ding on passenger door and minor paint crack on front bumper). Also Comes with:Summit Racing Headers. cross pipe exhaust connected to summit racing mufflers. Has a good 80's tic. Rebuilt 350 transmission. New front springs. 4 new shocks. Brand new summit racing factory leaf springs. All new rubber on rear and front suspension and body mts. New steering linkage. idler arm. tie rod ends. tc. New rear drums and rear brakes. Emergency brake cables all new and work smooth. needs a front end alignment. Engine components/accesories:1978 Intake manifold-timing chain cover-oil pan-harmonic balancer-all pulleys-alternator brkt-oil sending unit-lifter valley cover-valve covers-power steering pump. New transmission shift linkage and speedometer cable already installed and were working fine. Other new items:Heater core. Vent fan blower motor(worked great when car was running). Vent controls work decently. Power windows work but driver side goes up slow. All new weathersrips from Ames Performance. All new interior and exterior door handles and key cyinders including trunk. New stereo Cd player and auxiliary hook up with two 6x9's. 4 almost new tires. They are a year and a half old with 1000 miles on them. Mastercraft Avenger GT 245/60/15 on rear and 235/60/15 on front. Rear snowflake 15x 7's have been refinished with Eastwood classic silver. Two front matching snowflakes (unfinished) will come with it along with Ames 4 brand new red firebird center caps. All tires will be mounted on snowflakes when delivered. Wheels on front in pics do not come with car. Interior has original 1979 trans am seats and seat belts. New CC carpet. New Ames basic pkg tray. New PUI interior door panels. refinished door handles and trim pieces. Recovered headliner and sunvisors. Center console is aftermarket and has speaker holes cut in it. Horn does not work. All headlamps and tail lamps/brake lights were working when I had it running. Rear window defroster was working. All gauges except tach were working. Stereo is hooked up and Jams! Could use and amp and some Bass.
