Car description |
---|
For sale is a 1987 Pontiac Fiero SE. It has very, very low miles (less than 33,000), an automatic transmission, T-tops, and air conditioning.
I purchased the vehicle in 2006 from an older couple near Denver, CO. The vehicle has no rust, and has been covered for most of its life, and has not been driven during the winter months. The t-tops are removable and make it very fun to drive on sunny days. It has been well maintained, but it just doesn't get driven enough--so it is time for it to go to its next owner.
The paint is not perfect, but it is in very good shape. The rear decklid, however, does have issues with the clear coat. The previous owner indicated that the rear decklid was not original to the car, which make sense--the "Fiero" logo has the GT color scheme and is offset slightly (the GT letters are not present). The clear coat issue is only on the decklid and not on the rest of the car. The previous owner indicated that his wife wanted the luggage rack decklid, which was why he changed it.
The car was in a fender bender in 2014, which damaged the lower quarter panel behind the passenger side door and the door itself. The damage was professionally repaired by 3D Auto Body in Norfolk, NE. They did a very good job on the repair.
The tires are in good shape. It is a very reliable car, and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. Make an offer!
