Pontiac Catalina

Second owner car is completely original and in remarkable shape considering its age. interior is a 9.5-10 windows roll up smooth door panels and felt trim present and good seat has zero tears seat belts are smooth headliner looks like the day it was purchased stereo am only and works great clear never smoked in wipers turn signals heater dash lights interior lights waring buzzer all gauges lights work great steering wheel has no cracks horn works. carpet is in new condition and trunk and original spare and jack are present. all exterior lights are working. and there is no dents present with exception of scuff dent shown in picture. below pass side rear window. there are a few small surface rust areas no bigger than a pencil width as seen in pictures. no cancer in body but small i repeat small areas of slight surface rust sand able. i did not want to repaint as its the original black dupont paint and its in very good shape but not show paint. i wanted to preserve the originality of the car. it gets so much attention at shows and on the road. original black vinal top is in perfect shape with ZERO bubbles or tears.
mechanical condition.id drive this car anywhere. tires are all new 500 miles on themnew belts hoses fan clutch fluids sending unit for oil temp and fuel as they were not working when i got the car. also serviced the diff with new pinion seal and fluid. rear trans seal as we had drive shaft out. new wires cap rotor plugs fuel filter air filter and battery is strong. seems as if one valve cover might be seeping i have new gaskets but its a very slight leak. everything under hood is original and if good shape. its dirty but all present. the ac worked when i got it but the compressor front seal went out and leaked the r12 out wich is impossible to get in California let alone some one to do it. it worked great and all controls work it just needs new clutch seal and maybe a new ac clutch and service. trans fluid and filter was changed at time of seal leak repair. she aslo has a completely new stainless exhaust system from Y to tail pipe and muffler. nice and quiet and looks like a factory system.brakes are new calipers wheel cylinders and hoses as the car sat in a climate controlled garage for many years dormant.car is very presentable and very driveable. it is not a show car but shows a very nice story of love and care over the last almost 50 years ago not to mention the rare color combo of tripple black.any questions please ask i can take pictures of any detail and i would say car could be cross country driven with high chance of success as i drive it to and from work for approx 6 months with very few concerns. ex guage sensors small leaks etc. nothing that put me on the side of the road.hope she can find a good loving home where someone can appreciate her originality and survivor status. her name is candice =)
