1969 Pontiac gtoThis is a true 242 vin gto! The motor is a ys code Pontiac 400 motor that runs good, has NO smoke or ticks or knocks. The motor is stock with the exception of an edelbrock carb and Intake. The tranny is a Muncie 4 speed that has had a new clutch, pressure plate, throw out bearing and new syncros installed. Shifts nice and smooth! The rear end is a 10 bolt posi. The car has newer shocks installed all the way around. Nice running and driving car for being a 1969. The odometer is showing 52,000 miles which I believe is accurate because of the shape of the interior, but I have NO proof of that! The gto also has power steering, hideaway headlights, power front brakes, ralley gauges, hood tach, ralley wheels and dual exhaust. This is an original Arlington Texas built car, which is from South Dakota that came to mn in 2011 but has seen no weather! The frame, floors and trunk are solid! As you can see there has been some body work done to the car. It had quarter skins put on at the time of the body work. As you can see in one of the pics the cracks on the sail panel on drivers side, I believe it might of had a full quarter put on at some point or it's the factory seem that's old and cracked!? It looks worse in the pic than it really is and It's not a huge deal to fix! As far as the rest of the car goes, the trunk lid is solid, the rockers are solid, the inner rockers, the doors are solid and also the front fenders! A magnet will stick to anywhere on the body! This would not need a whole lot to have it painted in my eyes! As we all know true gto's are very desirable and getting harder to find that are not all rusted out! Clean title in my name!Look at the pics before you bid and ask any ?'s you may have! I will be happy to help! I will also talk to serious buyers over the phone! Leave your number. I'm not interested In any trades! $250 deposit through PayPal within 24hrs after auction end if reserve is met! The remainder is due in 5 days after auction end in the form of cash or a cashiers check! If a check the car will not be released until check clears bank! No exceptions! Thanks for looking and good luck! Please note that on my lens there is a block spot! It's NOT rust holes! It's on my lens and I can't seem to get it off!!! (Lower left side)
