This is a 1979 Pontiac Trans Am with a 403 cu in 6. 6 liter engine and automatic transmission. The car was restored about 12 years ago by the original owner. It was restored to "Driver Quality" (not showroom condition). The original owner was a mechanic at Jim Harris Oldsmobile. Buick. Pontiac. GMC where he purchased the car new. You are welcome to speak with him. When he restored the car he put a new rear end in it. a new gas tank and float. All the metal gas lines and metal brake lines were replaced. All new rubber in the suspension and new shocks. New exhaust system and new paint. This car is a numbers matching car and when I bought it the interior was all original. I put new carpet in it and new rear panels. I have also put a new dash cover on it. This car drives like it did in 1979. It's in amazing mechanical shape and can be driven daily. The paint is in good condition but there are some chips that have been touched up. The air conditioning needs charging. The clutch engages but not for long. I just always drove the car with the T-Tops off. Please note that I had to put a new/ used gauge cluster in the car so the mileage is showing approx. 97. 00 miles. The actual miles are approx. 104. 00. I still have the old cluster if you want it. Please note that I am not representing that it is in show condition #1 car. It is a very nice and clean car with no rust. Therefore the reserve is set very reasonably. If you have any questions please email me. You will not be disappointed in this car.
