Car description |
---|
1968 Pontiac Lemans "GTO Clone," 455 Motor and Muncie M21 4-speed. This car has been stripped down to the frame and built back up. It is a project that is not done, but has a ton of extra parts with it. Currently it is not road ready. It cranks but has not been started yet, last I worked on it there was no spark. The front fenders are not fully bolted on and the hood still needs pins installed. The steering column also needs to be permanently mounted, it's in there just so I can move the car around. The body is in excellent shape, obviously needs a paint job though. The wheels could use a good polishing but are in good shape, and the tires don't have many miles on them. The frame was sanded down and painted as well as the entire underbody. This car was originally an automatic so who ever converted it had to cut the hole for the shifter. All of the front end pieces are here as you can see in the picture and the hood is a brand new Glasstek fiberglass GTO hood with raised center to accommodate the high rise intake (still need a low profile air cleaner though). This is a solid car with no rust and a serious investment in parts. I haven't been able to work on it in a while and have reached a point where I decided it was time to move on and make some space in the garage.
