This Hardtop Turbo Trans Am (1 of 24) underwent the most extensive restoration possible! Body was completely stripped, then dipped in an EDP bath. (Same process new cars undergo). This guaranteed paint coverage even where you don't see it. This process is not cheap but ensures no rust creaping out of seams. This cost was well over $5k. The final paint cost alone was $10k. The engine was mildly internally modified: Ross Pistons, 206 roller cam, ported heads and intake. Transmission was rebuilt using CK shift kit. The underbody was coated with a wax based undercoating. All hollow spaces were also treated. All suspension parts were upgraded. Parts originally unpainted by GM were powder coated semi-black (i.e. sway bars, rear axle etc). Exhaust is 3" cat back. Original tips not currently installed. The interior is completely stock with minimal wear to side bolsters. Car is located in Germany (Military). Shipping to most Stateside ports approx $2000. You can call me @ +49 6374 992270 (six hour time difference to East Coast). I have very little opportunity to drive this car. I put 100-200 miles on it a year. It's time for someone else to enjoy it. This car is probably one of the best looking TTA's you'll find. The drivetrain is solid (with a tiny rear seal drip, as they all have...especially when sitting prolonged). The cost of restoration almost doubles my asking price! I can provide detailed pics if you call me, and there is serious interest.
