PONTIAC TEMPEST CUSTOM SHOW CAR

Check out this amazing 1966 Pontiac Tempest Coupe. This is the sister car to the 66 GTO. This car underwent a true nut and bolt rotisserie restoration as you can see by the pictures. Nothing was left untouched. The body was stripped, modified and refinished in beautiful Dupont Hot Hues Champagne Fizz and Amethyst Reflection. The firewall was smoothed, header panel reshaped for a better than factory fit. Shaved door handles with electric poppers and a manual override complete this hot custom look. Electric remote trunk release in glovebox. The entire frame and underside were sandblasted and refinished in the same Champagne Silver as the body. Flames were added to the hood. Tailights are one off custom molded Purple with Red LED bulbs. The interior is all new custom two tone leather done by Degreeves Upholstery, new carpet, custom headliner, even the glovebox has matching leather. Trunk also has matching carpet with leather accents. We have photos of the entire restoration process. The dash is another all custom fabricated piece in matching Purple and woodgrain. Pioneer Premierstereo with remote. The engine is a fresh 4 bolt main, rollerized 350 with Aluminum heads, flat top pistons, Edelbrock Endurapolished intake, chromed headers. March Billet Specialties pulley system As you can see everything has been chromed or polished. Steering and suspension is from an IROC Camaro, 11 inch Cadillac disc brakes, Lowered 2 inches.Corvette brake booster, twin electric fans keep it cool and a new 700R 4 speed transmission hooked to a 10 bolt 3.73 positrac axle means you can cruise all day in any weather! Wheels are Boyd Coddington Junkyard Dogs, 18x7 front and 20x8.5 rear with new Nitto 555 performance tires. New glass, new weather stripping, everything is new new! This is a brand new car with only 327 miles on the build!! It has been shown only twice, winning Best in Class both times at World of Wheels and Powerama. There is over 100,000.00 into the build.
