FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION we have for sale a nice driver quality 1968 GTO. Its powered by a 400 cubic inch engine, connected with a 4 speed manual transmission, power brakes, power steering, nice black interior bucket seat car with nice interior.
HEADLIGHTS WORK! TAIL LIGHTS WORK!
TURN SIGNALS WORK! BRAKE LIGHTS WORK!
DOME LIGHT WORKS! WIPERS WORK!
HORN NOT WORKING! GAS GAUGE WORKS!
SPEEDOMETER WORKS!
HOW IS THE PAINT? To my eye it is upper driver quality. By driver quality I mean this, it looks good, but under critical eye inspection you will fine it is not a perfect $20,000 paint job. The shine is very good, I see no big dents, a couple of small dings in the valance panel under the front bumper, I see no rust bubbles, I see some minor flaws with a critical eye inspection. I do see a couple of place that have been repainted, notreal bad, but if you were here and a painter you can see them. The lead joint on the full real quarter has been repaid and repainted, GM cars have a problem with this. Pontiac calls it carousel red and Chevrolet Hugger orange. I did not check to see if it is the original color!
HOW IS THE INTERIOR? Good, seat covers look new, carpet great, headliner extra good, other interior is in decent used condition.
HOW IS THE CHROME? Rear bumper good, door handles look new, vent window chrome shinny with some pits.
HOW IS THE ENGINE? I hear no knocks or rattles, I see no blue smoke and it starts good. It has the 400 casting marks on the under side. I do not have a clue if its the original or not!
HOW IS THE TRANSMISSION? Its a good shifting 4 speed manual.
HOW DOES THE CAR DRIVE? To me it drives great, it is power steering.
HOW DOES THE CAR STOP? Good for drum brakes.
