I purchased this 1949 Pontiac Cheiftain 2 years ago from an estate sale and have to many projects on the go soI'm selling it. The fellow that started restoring it had restored many cars throughout his life, with more of a "this is how they were repaired in the day" approach, no modifications, just clean, new and original parts. This car is a sport coupe sedan which is a 2-door sedan with a little bit shorter roof than a regular 2-door sedan. This car has more chrome and flash than a comparable Chevy especially with the classic big wide ribbed stainless steel trim down thecentre of the hood and trunk lid and that ever so awesomechief head hood ornament that illuminates with a light in behind. I've pulled all the spare parts out of the car and the only parts I see missing are as follows: 1 headlight trim ring, Vent window glass, quarter window glass and thelicense plate light stand-offs. It comes with clear door and rear glass as well as Brand New tinted 2-peicewindshield.
