Description
Real Special Edition. Have build sheet. Not running. This car is a great project! Does not have original engine but I installed a rebuilt 455 forged pistons 30 over. It's a 1973 motor that has 4x heads with bigger exhaust valvesinstalled 1.77 with headers. The carburetor is a 4-speed model and is re-built. The transmission is also rebuilt. It is a Borg-Warner super T-10. I have not checked the rear-end codes. Looks to be original with drum breaks? Trunk is not bad (pitting) quarters are okay, rame-rails ok, loors have 1 repairable spot (small) near drivers side emergency brake. I bought this car 5 years ago running but had to many projects. Cannot stand it sitting outside so I am selling it.
This is a solid project with a great head start. Why invest in a lesser one? The Special Edition Trans-Am is timeless and worth the investment money you put in them. My 3 projects ahead of this one are a 1974 SuperDuty, 971 HO, 972 HO TransAms, nd the reason I am letting this go.
