1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA. Exterior restored, no rust, PPG Repainted

New PPG Paint job (3 coats of base and clear coat) All dents and exterior rust was removed. This was done less than 3 years ago New window weatherstripping New performance 700r4 Transmission (corvette servo, eavy boost valve, hift kit etc) less than 1500 miles on it New OEM Throttle Valve Cable New Headers (Hedman) painted and with a new heated o2 sensor plugged into them New Dynoflow Exhaust with an all flow (fake) catalytic converter New Falken rear tires with an unused 3rd for a spare New $600 fiberglass spoiler New show n go license plate to hide the plate like at a car show (also prevented drilling a mount in the front bumper) New Stereo (media player) and speakers. This comes with GPS and maps and able to play movies or music videos while on the go. usb slot wired into center console along with an ipod hookup and a micro sd in the face of the unit. Also capable of accessing internet and games and rear view camera hookup. New spark plugs and a recent tune-up New cold air intake New EGR New Distributor All OEM emblems are still on the car as well in their appropriate spotsNew custom made battery tray welded in and with plastic holder to prevent future rustAlso, ll medal pieces were sprayed with paint to add rust resistance on the pieces that attach to the ground effects. The car runs fine at the moment and has no problems passing inspection. Always starts right up. After putting in to gear it will one time act like it wants to die. One rev though and it straightens outs. Never has any issues at long lights or stop and go traffic. New 700r4 transmission did have one issue and I took it to a place to get it fixed (3-4 clutches). Catches all gears fine now. I believe the rear defroster doesn't work, ood struts could use a replacement ($30) and ac doesn't blow cold (probably needs recharged). Odometer reads 107k but it had problems a while back, ctual mileage is 169k. It shows odometer exempt on the title (due to age). A few scratches on driver's window, nd some ground affects could use a tighter seal. Also doors sometimes require a hard push. They close fine though. That's the only minuses I can think of though. Headlights pop right up, ipers work...feel free to ask questions! In 1989 The Trans Am GTA was faster than a Mustang GT and Camaro Iroc and much better looking in my opinion. It was also the fastest USA production car of 1989 and the last year it was used at Indy although that was the V6 Turbo one. It was Also the 20th Anniversary of Trans Am. Has the same L98 Engine used in the C4 Corvettes and it runs strong. Car comes with several extras (stock manifolds, eftover paint (with the paint code), riginal stereo, riginal speakers, eceipts on work done to it, aynes repair manual and other misc). Also including a DuPont Car Cover with it. Between the cover and my parent's garage it has never seen snow or rain since restoring.In 4 years time of owning, have put about 15k in to this car. I have family problems though and it needs to be sold, efinitely not a want. Always gets a lot of attention at shows. It's rare to find a third generation f-body in this good of shape.
