Car description

I am an 81 yr old collector & due to my age & health I have decided to reduce my collection. I have already sold several of my collection locally & thru Ebay. Each purchaser has been happy with their purchase as you can see from their feedbacks. I describe my cars as accurately as possible. I will answer any questions you may have thu ebay or phone 770-966-7963.I am offering for sale a 1973 Pontiac Gran Am. If you are not familer with 1973-1975 Gran Ams they are basically a GTO. They were under development as a 1973 GTO whenthe US had the first shortage of gasand huge gas prices in 1972. The federal govt requested the auto manufactuers to stop building the high powered gas guzzling autos & the 73 GTO became a Gran AM. They are very rare as GM used a nose on them built out of a type of plastic that actually disintegrated & fell off the car, n addition to that it was almost impossible to get a replacement until a private citizen bought the mold & started reproducing them with a better material. This Gran Am has that nose. This car was one family owned until I purchased a few yrs, ack. It is completelyoriginal except for the replacement nose, later radio & a professional beautifulburgundy repaint. It has almost every option available at that time. The car is a joy to drive, reat handling & very responsive & in excellent mechanical & cosmetic condition. The interior is also burgundy & is almost perfect condition except for a small split on the dash.I purchased a 1973 Gran Am in 1973 & a 1974 in 74. I have always said they were the best handling & driving auto I ever drove & I also have a 74 presently, hich I hope to enjoy a little longer. It is a special order car with a 4 speed on the floor. I am sure there are others but I have never seen one. Thanks for looking. Jack
