Original Owner 83 Trans AM 25th Anaversary daytona pace car edition

The power train is a4 barrel305 producing 175hp and mated with a 5 speedmanual transmission. The car churps in 3 gears when you decide to pop the clutch. Only 500/2500 of these were manual. It has a WS6 suspension package which includes rear disc-brakes, ts heavy duty suspension provides that tight handling rough ride you get in any sports car of this era. This Daytona T/A's comes with a T top, ecaro seats which are leather trimmed with suede inserts. The dash gauges are backlit in red and "Daytona 500" floor-mats round out the interior package.In 1983 the Pontiac Trans Am was selected to pace the 25th Daytona 500. To commemorate this event 2500 limited edition Trans Ams were built. Officially called the 25th Anniversary Daytona 500 Pace Car, his special Trans Am was loaded to the hilt. The exterior was graced with a two-tone white/charcoal paint scheme complete with "Official Pace Car"decorating the front fenders just above the "Trans Am" name were "25th Anniversary Daytona 500" emblems. A new graphic adorned the power bulge of the pace car's hood and in 1983 only available on the Daytona T/A. Special 15x7 white "Aero" wheels put the finishing touch on the exterior. I am the original owner, ought the car 33 years ag, rove it for 10 years and then stored it only to occassionallty drive it every summer. This car is original in every way, ith exception of the driver sea, ipped torn due to use, had the inserts replaced. Everything but the AC works, ompressor is good, ut freon leaksin the cool mode, hich would have to bve repaired. This car is a good as it gets when it comes to the 80's nostalgia. A little TLC or a complete reno and you have yourselfa part of history, our choice . My goal is to pass this along to someone that will love & enjoy it as I did over the years.
