The car is owned by a family friend whom is the second owner of this car. He bought the car in 1978 with 4,100 original miles and has now decided to sell the car. The car is all original paint, ever been repainted and the paint shines well. The body is extremely solid, o rust, xcept what is shown on the inside of the driver's door and the edge of the trunk lid, oth easily repaired. The car is the SJ model with the original vinyl bucket seats; the interior is in very good to excellent condition no fading and only slight wear from the 58k miles that has been put on the car. The car has power windows that function without issues. Door locks are manual. All of the wood grain on the dash is even and free from defects. The original radio was replaced with a period correct AM/FM cassette player. The car is factory equipped with A/C; it operates but does not blow ice cold air, aybe low on refrigerant. The heat works and vents and fan function as they should. The original 400 V8 starts without issues, dles smooth and has good power throughout the power band. The transmission shifts smooth and engages into gear without issues. The car has disc brakes in front and drums in the rear as originally equipped and has no brake issues. The original tires will come with if the buyer wants them; they have good tread, ut were replaced due to their age. The tires that are on the car are P225/70R15 on the original wheels in very good condition. This car runs and drives like a dream; this is how a personal luxury car felt back in the late 70's.
