Up for sale is my 1984 Pontiac Trans Am, haven't owned it very long but am going to be moving and cannot take it with me. There has been a lot done to the car both mechanically and cosmetically. The previous owner restored the vehicle and it is a very nice example of a third gen Firebird. I have a pile of reciepts for most of the work that has been done to the car.Mechanically it features:Overhauled engine and transmissionNew brakes, alipers and disc'sNew coolant systemNew high torque gear reduction starterEdelbrock intakeEdelbrock CarburetorHeadersEdelbrock CamNew ExhaustNew tiresNew front end suspension partsMonroe shocksFlowmaster ExhaustNew Clutch with lifetime warranty!Cosmetically it features:New paint jobNew carpetingNew upholsteryFresh hood decal (no worrying about having to replace that!)New T Top sealsNew headlinerAlso has a Pioneer CD player and the stock speakers have been replaced with MTX'sThe vehicle is in great overall shape but isn't perfect, here is a small ding on the drivers door and the paint was chipped on the front bumper (see video). There are a few small scuffs on the seat but no holes and the speedometer doent work (I have the replacement gear but have not installed it.). The air conditioning is weak and blows on the defroster but the compressor kicks on and works like it should. There was a small rust hole on the drivers floorpan and the bottom of the trunk that was patched as well. The car is safe and reliable and drove it from Savannah Ga to Daytona Florida a few weeks ago with no issues. The paint could use a color sanding/buffing to really bring out the shine but is nice for a daily driver. These cars are becoming hard to find in good shape and a manual transmission black Trans Am was about as nice as you could get them back in the day!
