How does this car drive? I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere/any time, t's that nice!

Initially delivered to a GM dealership in Oshawa, ntario, anada and then sold and shipped to a customer (dealer) in the U.S.) This was common practice with the 1970 GTO's....especially the convertibles due to the incredible high demand for this car in the U.S. The Pontiac GTO sold in the U.S. or in Canada were identical in 1970.

The 1970 Pontiac GTO was completely restyled in 1970. The front reveals the familiar Pontiac split grille while the bumper, raparound parking and side marker lamps and valance panels were all restyled. Horizontally mounted headlamps extend to the outboard ends, nd the split grilles are surrounded by the wraparound bumper. The one piece panel which is above the grille and houses the headlamps is made from Fiberglass reinforced plastic. This was another first for Pontiac engineers who were the industry innovators and leaders in the use of plastic exterior applications.

The GTO has its own distinctive front end highlighted by a newly styled energy-absorbing ENDURA bumper. The car's profile shows the fresh look of new fenders, oors and rear quarter panels.

The tail lamps wrap around to serve as rear side markers and are mounted in a new bumper.

A wide selection of exterior colors were offered in 1970.......11 of which were new!

Personally, y all time favorite color for any GM car made in 1970 is the Carousel Red now on this car. It originally was Sierra Yellow.

This car has just been painted withvery expensive DuPontsingle stage paint and then shot with 3 coats of Clear. The entire car was hand worked and air-boarded & sandedto remove any dings, ents or imperfectionsand no bondo was used in the process....only metal. The paint is like glass and has great depth...it looks like you could stick you hand inside the paint. It is impossible to see any signs that this car was any other color other than it's spectacular Carousel Red.As good as this car looks...it drives even better. It starts the first time, very time, nbsp;idles smooth, nd the exhaust has that deep rumple of a 400 cubic inch Pontiac V-8.It does not have it's original radio but does have a great sounding more modern stereo system....I believe it is a Kenwood with a CD player.Yes, he factory tach works great! It drives great at highway speed with a fabulous smooth ride and shifts correctly. I drove this car today 20 miles around Boca Raton and Delray Beach,Florida. I then took it for a great ride to Lake Worth,Floridaand back to Boca Raton on I-95. I cruised at 75mph on I-95 and got so many "Thumbs Up" from the traffic that I got tired from raising my "Thumbs up/Arm Up" which is common courtesy when receiving adulation from other drivers. The steering and suspension on this car is nothing short of FANTASTIC. The steering is so responsive & tight that I am fairly certain this car must have a new (original type, robably NOS or New Original Stock) steering box. It was restored the right way which means replacing all of the suspension parts, rakes, teering parts, lectrical, tc. that make a car drive and handle great...not just look great. The engine & transmission were rebuilt and included with the car is a bill of sale & appraisal from 2007 for $49,500.This car is the best value 1970 GM Muscle Car Convertible youwill ever find. Call me for the lowest price acceptable at 954-873-6495. You'll be surprised and very pleased! My invoices and receipts total $1000's morethan the price you can own this car for. I restoredthis car with the intentof givingit to my Son! He found a vintage car he liked a lot more and I have already acquired it for him!The convertible power top work great and the top has no rips, uts or tears. We just had installed at the best trim shop in all of Florida, new aluminum boot rail and new convertible top boot....look at the fit - it isperfection. The shop has been in business for 43 years at the same location in Delray Beach, LA..it is Price's Trim shop. The chrome is magnificent as is reflected in the photos! The trunk and floor pans are solid and the undercarriage was just pressured washed and cleaned. There is no spare tire or jackwith the car...SO PLAN ON BUYING A SPARE TIRE & RIM. If you need help in locating one, 'll be happy to help. It should not cost more than $50 for a clean used rim and $100 for the New Spare.Should you so desire, intage air-conditioning can be installed for $1495.00 which will outperform the original air-conditioningoffered in 1970. It is with all new parts and works fantastic.Included with the paperwork was an appraisal from Lou Trepanier, professional independent appraiser from the New England area dated 11/16/2007. It states that the car has 35,810 miles and is in EXCELLENT condition having had a professional fresh restoration and detailing and that this car is a" AACA Official antique milestone car& a top ranked MUSCLE car.The documentation included is the complete set of Pontiac Historical Services Documentation, 1970 Pontiac GTO owner's manual, reproduction window sticker, copy of the Original Dealer's Factory Invoiceand a Kenwood Instruction manual. All are in a nice clear binder. At that time in 2007 with 35,810 miles showing on the odometer, the car was professionally appraised at $49,500....and these cars have continued to rise almost every year in value. It now shows 37,167 (more since I drove it today)miles but we have no way of proving that this is the true original mileage. The title reads "Exempt."This is a rare opportunity to buy and own a documented real factory built GTO Convertible at well below the market price. If you're interested in learning the "low dollar" price, lease call me at 954-873-6495 and I'll be happy to give you that information....but I will not answer E-mail requests which ask "What is your reserve or low dollar?"I was able to see the Y/S stamped on the front of the block whichindicates a 400 cubic inch V-8 with Automatic transmission.According to Pontiac Historical Services, total of just 2,173 Pontiac GTO Convertibles were built in 1970 with this engine and transmissioncombination which also includes the Judge Convertibles as well. It is estimated that 40%-50% have survived or approx. 800-1000 cars.Of those I believeonly approx.10% remain in this condition or around 100 examples.Originally Pontiac wanted to make the color "Carousel Red" exclusive to the GTO Model "The Judge"....and here in my opinion represented one of the best Judges known to exist..1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Ram Air IVThis "real" GTO Ram Air IV Convertible in Carousel Red wasauctioned on Saturday, ovember 13, 010. It was part of my friend's collection, ilt Robson. Milt is one fine gentleman...I was privileged to buy from Milt a spectacular 1957 Pontiac Fuel Injection Convertible with 35,000 actual miles.Milt'sJudge Ram Air IV Convertiblewas sold for $308,000 (ID was 242670Z133454) which would be the top end of the market for a 1970 GTO Convertible...although some examples have recently sold for even more money. This gorgeous factory GTO Convertible that has been beautifully refinished in Carousel Red can be bought for a mere fraction of that price! and I do mean a fraction of that amount!Twenty First Century Auctions has been selling fine Late model sports cars, intage and collectible cars on EBAY MOTORS since March of 2000 and we have a 100% feedback rating.Even in these very tough economic times where real estate has tumbled down a very steep hill....vintage cars...the real ones...the pedigreed cars in great restored or near perfect original condition continue to hold value and in most instances appreciate. Why not have fun with your money? ...enjoy your life and know that when you wake up in the morning your dollars are still safe in your garage or warehouse and haven't evaporated into thin airI was privileged to be close friends with the late Jerry J. Moore from Houston, exas. Jerry was a Real Estate Mogul and one of the largest owners of shopping centers in the world.Jerry was also an avid car collector and amassed one of the largest and best vintage car collections on the Planet. If Jerry told me once....he probably told me over 100 times......"In case you forgot...remember..."You will never see a Brinks truck at a funeral service or a Hearse with a luggage rack at a cemetery!"Car collecting is a family thing...everyone around the world admires and loves these great vintage and collectible cars.We have sold cars from Australia to Alaska...From China to Saudi Arabia.....From Manhattan to Moscow....and the hobby keeps growing & expanding all the time.Collector car insurance is dirt cheap...about $250-$300 a year for a quality collectible like this. and you can also buy full coverage! They usually require a garage and not more than 2500 miles a year put on the car.I recommend you only buy a car like this if you have a garage to keep it in.I always try and look for major flaws and mention them and try to point them out when I see something.Your welcome to come in person to inspect this car for yourself...hire anyone you like to come on your behalf....bring yourExperts and magnifying glasses........see if you can find anything negative worth mentioning...we tried and couldn't find anything other than what we stated in the description...maybe you can?We have tried diligently to find any MAJOR flaws in the paint, ody, nterior, echanical or electrical systems and have not been able to locate anything that we could list as a MAJOR problem in the description or that we haven't already mentioned.I truly believe there isNOsuch thing as a "PERFECT" old car oreven alate modelcar that has been driven, nbsp;WE ARE NOT making such a claim.....but this caris in beautiful conditionESPECIALLY when you consider it isFORTYFIVE YEARS OLD!We are urging you toPLEASEcome and inspect the car in person, rive it or to hire an expert inspector to do this for you. AGAIN....Please do not ask us to recommend anyone....we want you to select & hire your own inspector. If you wish to schedule an appointment to see this car, lease call me at954-873-6495....We would appreciate at least a one-two day notice. The car is kept inmy friend's Museumlocated in the Ft. Lauderdale area.Thiscar isowned free and clear. After you speak with us on the phone, t is possible to have ascanned copy of the title sent directly to you.We know this is a Platinum investment collectable car....it is foolish to invest your hard earned dollars in clones and fakes....this is a car that you can still drive & enjoy and will increase in value...not decrease in value.....and if you chose to...you could drive it every day. We feel very strongly that a car like this will not only hold its value but in years to come will continue to appreciate. Please don't buy a gorgeouscar like this unless you have a garage to store it inside. You can look at this car in bright outdoor sunlight or indoors under florescent light...it still looks spectacular....but don't take our word...PLEASE...come and check it out yourself. I personally don't like surprises and it's our goal not to give you any....this is a NO DISAPPOINTMENT collectible classic Pontiac GTO Convertible!!!We don't "play games" We love when a car is inspected prior to meeting the reserve.
