1965 Pontiac GTO Tri Power

This 1965 Pontiac GTO is by far one of the nicest examples to be found as you will see in my pictures.This PHS documented GTO was built at the Fremont,California factory and soldnew in Ontario,Ca. I have owners history showing it spent most of its life in California where it received a full frame off restoration in 2000. It was repainted in its original color of Palmetto green with the frame,suspension and rearend black powdercoated in 60% gloss.The original YS engine was rebuilt with new stainless steel valvesand hardened valve seats,10:75: compression ratio with #77 heads. All is numbers matching except tri power carbs added and 2-speed transmission upgraded to a turbo 350 automatic transmission.The paint is glass smooth done with Diamont 2-stage polyurethane in the original color.The vinyl top is new as well as the complete interior replaced.Every nut and bolt was removed to be replaced or restored.All chrome is either excellent original or new as needed.It was restored as a rust free car maintaining all original panels.Since full restoration it has been gently used and has been a show winner many times.The car is very stock,with quiet exhaust,and never been raced or abused. This is not a patched up car,its like new! As to be expected of a car of this caliber it runs and drives great! Below I have listed some of its features:
