1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am GTA Coupe 2-Door 5.7L 5 Speed Manual Y84 WS6

Hello and thanks for checking out our Trans AM for sale! UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!! THIS CAR WAS NOT INVOLVED IN AN ACCIDENT IN 2013!!! I had a jeep that struck my wife's Toyota in our driveway, OT THE GTA!!! Insurance reported it wrong, ut can't take it back; thanks, llstate. Also, have the report and receipts from the other accident- which was minor in the mid 90s. 1988 Pontiac Firebird TransAm GTA Y84 WS6- Excellent condition. 92,000 miles (~82000 corrected, ead on). Original black paint (clear coated twice) tinted(35%). Black cloth interior is beautiful and near perfect. (new carpet, ats & headliner). I am 3rd owner; I flew to Maryland, ought the car with 90,000 miles and drove it back to Western New York. It has been garage kept its whole life. It's a high 12 sec car w/ tons of performance mods; this is not a typical dog 3rd gen firebird! GM L98 350 (5.7 Liter), he block/pistons/crank are original numbers matching, verything else upgraded. A/C is fully functional and COLD- was serviced, nd has held charge for several years, o no issues there.

Upgrades:

• Ventilated Baer 4-wheel disc brakes.
• New Stern ST7 Staggered 18" rims (8.5" front, .5" rears) with new Eagle F1 tires.
• Original style 16" gold snowflake wheels included, nly they are brand new and shelved with correct OEM rubber to keep in mint condition.
• Hotchkis suspension-struts/springs/trailing arms/panhard rod/strut brace/polyurethane bushings, nd lowered 2 inches.
• GM ZZ3 aluminum racing heads w/ matching cam
• Manley roller rockers
• SLP Cold air intake box with under-valance ram air
• 1000 cfm foiled throttle body
• Milled plenum w/ larger SLP racing runners
• Bigger fuel injectors & fuel rails
• New flashed cpu
• March underdrive pulleys
• 160 degree thermostat
• Edelbrock Long-tube headers w/ 3-inch exhaust, lowmaster muffler, iflo catalytic converter.
• Original automatic was replaced with NEW GM Hi-Performance 5-speed conversion (World Class T5, believe).
• New GM Hi-Performance rear end w/ 355 gears.
• All work professionally installed by previous owner's father's prominent speed shop in Maryland. NEW Parts alone topped $10k in the 90s. Nothing was borrowed/taked from donor cars. All from GM Warehouse.
• Lloyds Gold Bird Floor Mat set
• Leather Shift knob

Minor problems: Radio is not wired to speakers: I never needed/wanted. (original radio is included). Paint has 3 small imperfections: 1. scuff on left side rear bumper, ot cracked. Repair estimate is $400 to pull, epair repaint/re-install. It's really not that bad which is why I never repaires it (see pics) 2. pressure crack on hood by latch, nd a small repaired bubble on driver's door trim. 4. Typical crack at back lower corner of spoiler on both sides. #2-4 aren't noticeable except up close. The rest of the paint is GORGEOUS! Shines like brand new, o fade or spidering. 5. The center console soft rubber has some separation from the hard plastic top-plate.

Car has ~20,000 miles on the performance upgrades. With new gears and transmission, he speedo was not corrected and reads 85 when going 60mph, o the mileage is more accurately near 82000 for the vehicle.

Car runs strong, blast to drive, amp; can compete w/ anything on the road- estimated 350-400 horsepower, 00+torque. Comes fully detailed, YS inspected, ust-free (oiled to ensure no future problems). I have all reciepts and documents.

Now we are forced to sell, s we had a surprise 3rd child- no room for the whole family anymore and the car has sat- only driven 50 miles this year. The money is needed elsewhere, o sadly, ut necessarily must go.
