1977 Pontiac Astre Base Hatchback 2-Door 2.5L

1977 Pontiac astre THIS car is FAST.. Not for the beginning driver!This car was restored to about an 7 1/2 out of 10 It runs and drives great it has a Chevy 383 stroker with a 350 turbo trans built to hold 600hpIt also has a 3000 stall converter to build the power off the line! Built for the street or strip (needs sticky tires)..The body was stripped down and etch primered the painted with a 2 stage white paint!It has a new set of American racing wheels with new tires. It has all new brakes front(disc off a s-10) and rear( manual) it has 5 lugs front and rear for the strength you need plus easier to get wheels.The interior has a set of seats from summit buckets with head rest's. The rear needs re covered if you want it? the interior panels need re sprayed black or covered with a material! The shifter is a quick silver but the cover was lost.. ** Specifics on the rear end it has been rebuilt new seals, earings and gears. The car needs a speedo cable I will purchase one and try to get it in before it leaves. If i cant i will leave it in the car..Body was a rust free car before starting restoration it had a couple dents that were removed with a stud puller(not a slide hammer that most use that uses a drilled hole!!)No holes were drilled..The front spindals are off an s-10 pick up to convert to 5 lug.. these required special off set bushing to make car car align correctly after install!The inside and out side was primed and painted white. The panels on the inside need re painted also the rear hatch area ones were dry rotted so they couldn't be saved.. I have driven this car is drives smooth and doesn't over heat. There is a electric fan for back up just in case of the 110 degree days in az..The car had a/c from the factory the out side box was removed the inner in intact.. I recommend you inspect the car prior to purchase..Car is sold as is where is!! No warranty stated or implied.. Again THIS Car IS FAST... not for someone who cant control a high performance Vehicle..
