1968 Plymouth GTX 440 Four Speed Dana

Up for bid. 1968 Plymouth GTX. It is a real RS23 code car that was rotisserie restored to this condition. finishing car in 2013. Some of the highlights are. car was striped of all paint . quarter panels replaced and car repainted inside and out . op and bottom base coat /clear coat. Fender tag color is uu1. Paint is very nice grading 7. 5 to 8 out of 10 (my opinion). here is a small crack in paint on passenger side cowl that needs touched up. When built I replaced both bumpers . heel well molding . ocker molding. grill moldings. nbsp; door handles. nbsp;all weather striping. windshield. and all paint gaskets new! Under dash stereo with remote and alpine speakers. Package tray NOT CUT! Front suspension is all been replaced with all new components . New rebuilt brake system. New fuel tank. and sender. Shocks are new as well . leaf springs rearched . Interior upholstery has all been replaced. including fire wall insulation and new heater core. Engine is a date stamped 1968 but not original to car. it was a low mileage engine needing only freshened up stock bore. Rings. bearings. Comp cam 280. nbsp;pumps. seals and gaskets. heads reworked (906). Aluminum radiator and catch can to keep it all cool! Engine also has a Edelbrock 750 carb and a Mopar dress up package and mopar performance msd 6 al box and jet hot coated Hooker Headers with mag flo muffers and stainless tips. Clutch assembly was also replaced. Trans has new syncros . seals . askets it is a 833 . 3 spline. Rear axle is a Dana 60 . t also has new seals. gaskets. Under hood insulator . ater tank. and battery! Trunk is original and solid. paint finish is not perfect but good. comes with trunk matt. I have included some build pics so you can see more of the car. This is a factory 4 speed car! Fender tag is on car. Wheels are magnum 500s with t/a radials 80% tread. These cars are rare. this one is rust free and done!! To have a car like this restored would cost 10s of thousands.
