Up for sale is my 1937 Plymouth hot rod. I purchased the car 4 years ago. Was told that the car was completed in 2012, built in northern Calif. and that the donor car for the drive train was a 1978 Chrysler. Motor is a 318 c.u. and the trans is a 904. it had about 3700 miles on the odometer then and has approx 8000 on it now. The car runs and drives well, does not over heat and has been dependable. I would describe it as a nice driver. The paint is good but far from perfect. The interior is nice. There are electronic gauges in the dash, has power steering (rack and pinion), power brakes (front discs-rear drums). It has the old style tip out windshield using a knob on the dash to work it. This type of windshield was noted for poor sealing and this one does leak a bit on the drivers side. The windshield wipers are electric and each side has its own on-off knob (I have never used them). Since I have owned the car I have installed a new electronic ignition (similar to what a 1978 Chrysler would have), a new 600 cfm carb, new dual exhaust, new Vintage Air heat-air-defrost and recently installed new wheels and tires. The car does NOT have power windows, power door locks or a radio. I actually do not even have a key for the door lock-just never needed it. It could probably use some new window channel to make them roll a little smoother. All shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer. Please feel to ask questions. I have some car knowledge but I am not expert. My reason for selling is that I no longer use it enough. The only form of payment I will accept is a direct bank wire transfer. I will not accept any other form of payment. The title is clear and in my name. No trades. Thanks Joe
