THE BIGGEST FISH IN THE POND
1971 Hemi ‘Cuda convertibles are extremely rare.
Up for sale is my 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible.
This is as close as you will get unless you have about $4-5 million dollars to spend.
This is a newly restored example of what this car looked like upon it's delivery to a dealership in 1971.
The body lines are probably better than when this car was initiallymanufactured.
This Car has been under an extensive Frame-Off/Rotisserie 2 year restoration that just finished in August of 2020.
Original "Sassy Grass" Factory Color.
It has the Hemi K-Frame installed, Hemi-Radiator, Hemi Torque Boxes, Hemi Rolled Hemi Fenders, a Hemi Fender tag and so much more.
The Green battery is for shows. Both batteries go with the car.
The interior including, dash, seats, carpets gauges, console and glass are all brand new.
Anyone can install a Hemi in a convertible Cuda and call it a Hemi Cuda Convertible but this one is the finest example of as close as you can come to the real thing without breaking the bank.
World renowned Mopar authenticator David Wise came by to put the correct factory markings on this car to make it look even closer to the real elephant in the room. All of the stickers, markings and tags are all in place to resemble a true example.
Mopar performance stock 426 Hemi
18 Spline Hemi Transmission
Dana super track pack rear end
Every component in this car is new or freshly restored.
It smells like a brand new car with less than 25 test driven miles. I have put over $200k into this extravagant build.
I'm looking for the closest offer I can get to $180,000.00
I have over 150 pictures of the entire restoration. Serious inquiries only.
Some facts about a Hemi Cuda Convertible.
In 1971, only 6,228 ‘Cuda hardtops and 374 convertibles were built. Only 108 hardtops were built with Hemi engines and just 11 convertibles had Street Hemi power. There were only (2) Four- speed manual Hemi ‘Cuda convertibles ever built which makes them the rarest of all them.
There were 108 Hemi Cuda coupes and 11 were Hemi Cuda convertibles. Only two of the convertibles were sold with 4- speeds.
The 1971 HemiCuda convertible is now considered one of the most valuable collectible muscle cars. Only thirteen were built, seven of which were sold domestically.
The most recent public sale was at the June 2014 Mecum auction in Seattle, where a blue on blue 4-speed sold for $3.5 million (plus buyers premium)
There were Twelve Hemi ‘Cuda convertibles built from the entire 1971 model year. Total. Two of those went to Canada, and three others went overseas.
Only seven were made for the US. Only two HemiCuda convertibles were ordered and assembled with Hurst manual shifters went to buyers in the United States.
