Car description |
---|
This 1969 Cuda is the last year for this body style.
Not to many 1969 Cuda's floating around, especially a fastback. It seems there a lots of 67 and 68 model years up for sale and at car shows etc..
To many projects and simply have no time finish the car.
The body work and paint cost over $23,000.00 alone.
The Cuda still retains all of its original body panels except for the replacement of the entire cowl section.
This paint work on my car is superior work not some cheap job. I'll put this paint job up against any paint job and body work out there. This car still needs to be buffed out. It will look like glass after it is done.
This CAR was dis -assembled and almost every thing that wasn't obvious was bagged and inventoried for future installation after body and paint work.
The car was originally a 318 bucket seat, automatic transmission and came with a yellow exterior and black interior.
Now, the color of the exterior has been changed to 2002 Prowler Gold.
NOTE: the 4 speed pedals have not been cut through the floor. Nor has the tunnel been cut through for the shift mechanism and the car is still considered an automatic car.
The 340 motor was pulled from the car just prior to restoration and has under 1,000 miles since it was fully rebuilt. The motor was born in December 1969 so technically it is a '69 date coded motor.
According to the previous owner, the motor puts out conservatively 435 Horsepower, and has the highly desirable "X" heads.
Unfortunately, no dyno records. The motor is currently at a speed shop but due to COVID mess we are all living through, the owner cut off his staff. I wanted to get a pull just days before this COVID stuff hit NY.
The motor comes with a 750 Holley double pumper still new in box.
Exhaust headers included in sale
The distributor is a mopar distributor and is brand new and it has the built in tach feature.Motor has MSD, water pump and alternator,All pulleys etc...
The sale includes the conversion pedals and Z bar.
The 4 speed tranny is still in crate and came out of a '69 Dart. I forget if it's a 18 or 23 spline. Car also comes with bell housing for tranny. No clutch plate etc... is included.
Rear end is 3.73 gears and is sure grip posi.
Car comes with all the glass except for the front windshield. Yes, I have the fastback glass.
Almost all the chrome and stainless trim has already been cleaned and polished and is ready for installation.
The front and rear bumpers are solid and super clean (driver quality), with no dents.
Back seat is super mint and was removed over 30 years ago and has been in storage since. And, the fold down panel is mint and all in tact.
The entire interior is mint and super clean and all original.
The dash and steering collar and column is perfect.
No carpet in car, that was tossed.
The two front bucket seats are long gone and as is the front windshield these are the only missing pieces
Rims are centerline 15 inch. Tires are dry rotted.
email with any questions. to much to list...
