Car description |

You probably haven't seen one of these before. An incredibly rare 1960 plymouth perkins diesel!
PERKINSP4C DIESEL
No. of cylinders 4
Bore and stroke 3.5â€x5â€
Compression ration 16.5:1
Torque, 140 ft/lbs at 1600 RPM
Max speed(RPM) 3,000
Max BHP 57
Starts and runs on regular No. 2 DIESEL fuel
Cold-weather starting aid is regular equipment
Weight-543 lbs. with electric starting gear but less flywheel and starting ring gear.
Does not run. If you're going to ask about something on the car, assume it's rusty. This car will sell, it's no reserve. I actually don't know that much about them. This was part of a package deal of cars I bought around 18 months ago. Not sure I'd attempt the restoration, but someone my want to do a really cool rebody with a 4 door sedan. Just change out the driveline. Feel free to ask questions, I'll do the best I can, but there isn't much info out there on these things. They were done in 59 and I believe this to be one of the last ones produced.
I can help arrange shipping if east of the Mississippi. Expect to have a rollback upon delivery to transfer it to and then drop it where you want. Time to spend that stimulus check! Make your partner proud with this high quality investment grade collectible. Sure to be the only one on your block/state.
