1970 Plymouth Barracuda . Condition is Used.
440 Six-Pack / Brand New 3x2 Holley Carb from Summit Racing plus a set of full-tube headers for a little more power. This Cuda has 4:10 Posi-Traction and the time and tested Slap-Stick 727 3-Speed Torqueflite. This car shifts from 1st to 2nd at 76mph and has been known to "Chirp the Tires" at 76mph! This is a very strong Running - Strong - Fast Cuda! 0-60 in around 5 secs. If you are not used to driving a car like this and you bid and win, be very careful driving this car. You will be Bo-Duke in about 3 seconds and sideways all the way down the road! I happen to know Bo and he would attest to this.
From an appearance standpoint (paint), this car could be left "as is". I have won awards in car shows (see pics) for Public Choice and other awards up against frame off restored Cuda's. I can also say, some of the guys were not happy about that since they spent over $100,000 to restore their Cuda's - my CUDA is just a "Bad Looking Car!!!" and people love it. There were 162 Cars in the car show with the award I am holding in the pics. This Cuda was originally B7 Blue (see pics) and I have it lined up to paint this summer - however due to personal issues I have decideed to sell. The car is mechanically sound, runs like a Bandit, and is ready for Paint "if you want to paint it" or leave it as is and just drive it. This is what I have done over the last few years... I've enjoyed being able to drive it and not worry about scratching it! It's just fun this way.
Note: Some of the following interior items are on the car... some I was waiting for paint to install since I would just have to take them off again anyway... . I have all new interior seats covers (Front Seats in Photo are not the New Seat Covers - I have not put them on yet - i was waiting on paint - the rear I have done - see pics), new door panels are in, new power windows (ready to install), door handles (ready), fish gill rockers (are on), New Ralley Mirrors (are on), New Truck Lid (is on), New Rear GO-WING (is on), New Hockey Stripe (ready), new package tray (ready), new insulation (ready), body plugs (ready if needed), on and on... I have many parts from YEAR ONE to put on this car. Again - some parts I have put on the car... some I was waiting until I sent it to paint since again, I would just have to take it all apart prior to paint... many parts are still in boxes brand new unopened from YEAR ONE. The car was already a solid car when I purchased it years ago... but it was all original interior from the '70's and was of course showing a lot of wear... so I just bought all new parts... I have spent "Multi-Thousands" on parts and all parts come with the car of course. The Dash needs to be sent to "just Dashes" - they are GREAT! Again, I was waiting for paint to do that since the dash would need to come out at that time... It has a dash cover that looks like the dash - it looks good - but I had planned to restore the dash. So far... I've just been driving it and putting it in car shows as is. It's a really "neat" looking car "as is" and you could not recreate the paint on it as it is now... I have had many "Hot Rodder's" tell me to just clear coat it and leave it and I have come close to that - and if I kept it to just drive and enjoy - that is probably what I would end up doing... but to resell for top dollar if I do so later... I will paint it. If you should win the bid.. you can decide if you want a cool toy to just drive and play with or if you want a show car - this car can go either way at this point. I have also had this car on the rack and looked over by mechanics - undercarriage of car is awesome! Floor pans and everything are good. Trunk needs a few patches as one would expect - nothing huge - or just put a new pan in if you paint for a show quality car - they are cheap. The engine has been rebuilt as well as the transmission (approx 1,500 miles on car since rebuild). I just added the Six-Pack which has brand new period correct carbs from Summit Racing which are Holley's who owns the patent to the carbs and manufactures them with the same numbers as they were back in the 1970's so they are period correct... Less than "50 miles" on car since new Six Pack Added - Manifold is from a 1970 440 so it is period correct, New Air Cleaner... I have over $6000 in just the Six Pack and Air Cleaner. I added front disc brakes, new spindles all 4 wheels, Tinted Windows, and I am sure more that I am forgetting over the years. This CUDA is a piece of MOPAR history - and one you will enjoy for years to come... I wish I did not have to sell....
The CUDA is insured for $75,000 currently with Hagerty who told me they will insure for $125,000 once I am finished with the Paint. There is 1 rust spot behind each wheel (see pics) which will need to be cut out and patched. This is typical of these cars... The metal is around $200 and about the same to have it welded in. The other area with rust which is also typical is in the drain around the trunk which all can be welded and fixed easily. I have already had the body shop check it out. If I decide to do the paint and body and then sell, this car will jump another $25-$30K. Buy it now and do it yourself to save money and paint it the color you want. If I decide to do so, it is going back B7 Blue this summer and I will relist at $65k-$75k.Good luck on the bid!!!On Jan-24-20 at 18:32:27 PST, seller added the following information:

On Jan-27-20 at 18:57:59 PST, seller added the following information:3 people have emailed to ask if I have the fender tag and about the motor. Thank you for your emails. I'm not sure how it is getting missed. Please see the photos provided. The fender tag is there and the decode is there showing the originsl 340 4 Barrel and that it is now a 440 Six Pack. Please look at all photos. The fender tag is black and a photo by itself. The document sheet in the photos lists the fender tag items and what they mean as well as upgrades. I provided the sheet decode. Thank you again and good luck on the bidding.
