Up for your consideration is a Super Rare all original Survivor 1970 Plymouth Duster. ( This car will be shipped Free of charge to the lower 48 states. ) It has the factory original 340 engine and transmission it came with. The 8 3/4 3.23 rear axle with 489 carrier is still in place. This car was purchased from the original owner. A short history on the car. After coming home in late 1969 from Vietnam war I took a job with the local phone company here in San Diego. I was installing telephones in houses back then and had just completed a job and was headed back to my van. as I was ready to leave up pulled this car into the driveway. I was always a Mopar nut so I jumped out to see the car. The owner had just picked it up from the dealership. He had ordered it some time earlier. He was so proud of the car and the color. I asked him, if you ever get tired of i, please give me a call, I would love to have it. SoI saw this car the day it came from the dealership. Here are some of the options the car was ordered with. Power steering, Front disc brake, heavy duty cooling package, Bucket seats, with center console, 340 HP V8 with 727 3 speed automatic transmission. Lime Lite Green paint. Installed New exhaust system front to rear, 2 1/2 inch with Flow Master 40 series mufflers. Front mounted hold down hood pins, Upgraded to Chrysler electronic ignition. Replaced stock carter carb. with Edelbrock 1407 750 cfm 4 bbl carb. Original carb will come with the car. All other parts are original with the car. We detailed the engine bay as well as the engine. The car has 102 thousand miles on it and runs like a top ! The body on the car is Rock solid. With the exception of a small spot on the front lower corner of the drivers door, there is NO rust. The floors and sub frames are perfect. A true southern California car.. I have looked for 2 years to find an original 340 Duste, unrestored like this. I have not found one. The car has it's original Ralley wheels that go with it. I put on the big wheels and tires because it gives the car that Healthy look and fills up the wheel wells.
