The Blue Goose 1956 Plymouth “The Blue Goose", unrestored 23,960 original miles Savoy 2door club sedan dressed in Belvedere trim. Built in Detroit, original P29 270 V-8 with push button PowerFlite. This 1956 Plymouth was built in the Detroit assembly plant and sold new in Madison Heights, Michigan. In May of 1969 Mr. Smith purchased the car from the original owner with just 4000 miles, they named her “The Blue Goose". In November 1981 the owner moved from Madison Heights, Michigan to West Salem, Illinois, the car had spent many years under a carport fading. It was then decided to brighten up the old girl in 1981, the exterior was painted leaving the door jambs, interior trunk, and under the hood original. Mr. Smith passed away thus willing the car to his daughter, neither her or her family had an interest in keeping the car. I purchased the car in November of 2006 moving the car to Missouri in which I became the third owner of “The Blue Goose". I then embellished the car with Belvedere trim and dual exhaust with factory deflectors. This is a low mileage, unrestored car with only 23,960 original miles. These cars are getting more and more difficult to find especially in this kind of condition. Please look at the pictures to see just how truly nice this car is. More pictures available upon request.
