1965 Plymouth Barracuda. Car was purchased from a storage locker. Was an old 1/4 mile car with a 340 c.i. auto. Car ran low 11's in this trim with a 456 gear. Car was totally dis-assembled all glass removed taken down to bare metal and sprayed with epoxy primer, and single stage PPG Concept DCC acrylic enamel. Parts car was purchased for 4-speed conversion,Original bucket seats, dash, wiring, doors, trunk lid, center hump for 4-speed shifter. Car was completely back-halfed by Magnum Superchargers located in Oak Grove, Mn. before I purchased it. Engine was purchased from California and is an all correct Max wedge except the block is an original 1965 street wedge block, stamped so on the pad with an H.P. stamp in lower right hand corner. I personally went thru the entire engine that was .020 over and after 15k it did 475 H.P. on the dyno. It has a rare stage II intake and the larger 3705 carbs. Thepolished stainless fenderwell headers alone were 2500.00 entire 2 1/2" exhaust is custom made all the way to the rear bumper and is ceramic coated. Engine mounts are from Schumacher industries, clutch is the 10 1/2" Hays. The rear gear was changed to a 3:91- Everything is done right on this car. Front spindles and brakes have been upgraded to the larger 10" from a B-body Coronet. Master cylinder is willwood. All new brake lines, all new fuel lines and fuel pump round out this sweet ride. 10 year restoration just completed. Questions????????? ask :) No dreamers or low ball offers PLEASE :( this is probably 1 of 1 for a 426 Max wedge in an A-body cuda
