1970 Plymouth Barracuda Grand Coupe
Originally 383 4 barrel 4 speed with 50,000 miles on it... Now it’s a 340 4 barrel 4 speed. Dana 60 narrowed Summers Brothers rear end, spool 5:13 gears, 11x3 drum brakes, came from 64 SS Dodge record holder, 15.50 tires fit in tubs, springs moved inboard about 6â€, 2 sets of 10.5x15 slicks mounted on aluminum rims, power steering, 15x3.5 front and 15x10 rear Draglite rims.... long lugs, traction bars.
340 is balanced 12.5 to 1 pistons, solid Comp cams second largest, roller rockers, 3/8 push rods, single plane Torker manifold, Moroso oil pan, fresh rebuilt 800 Holley, 3/8 stainless gas line, Holley 110 gallon fuel pump, 5 gallon fuel cell, Lakewood housing, resurfaced fly wheel, Hooker race headers with 3†exhaust, Gold Box electronic ignition. USES 110 OCTANE LEADED FUEL!
Car turned 8.20 in 1990’s at 1/8 mile track!
Body freshly finished in B7 blue... taken to bare metal, epoxy primed, metal repair done, rear quarters and drivers floor repaired, front fenders are new, underside and interior paint nice as outside, urethane primer with hardener, urethane paint with hardener and four coats clear, needs buffing, no rust anywhere on body.
Interior is original, Dyed black from blue, ROLL CAGE, ceiling console, new hard ceiling, new carpet, new dash cap, PISTOL GRIP SHIFTER, line lock, pillar oil and temp gauges, racing seat belt, heater box rebuilt, new heater core, new windshield, all body gaskets, plugs, seals and weather stripping.
Stainless brake lines, new master cylinder, new front brake cylinders, welded frame ties, drive shaft loop, lift off 6 pack hood (AAR), road lamps, original grille.
Currently set up for drag racing, can be returned to streetable.
