The car your about to view; the production numbers will speak for them self. In 1969, Plymouth built a ton of RoadRunner Coupes, about 31,397.Out of that, this particular RRis 1 of 2 Coupes known to exist. Many guys say its a myth after NASCARRichard Petty Left Plymouth for Ford Late 68', that it couldn'tbe ordered. Well this car is proof it could...

Factory 383 4BBL 335HP / 4 Speed Hurst ShifterSpecial Order Petty Blue with Light & Dark Blue InteriorPerformance Hood Paint with White Longitudinal Sport Stripes
Johnson drove it until selling it to his brother in the 80's. His brother has kept it in the same conditionas it was sold to him.Spent its entire life in Phoenix, Arizona under a carport as seen in the photo. Many people would stop over the years, trying and fail to purchase it as it was in front of his home. Recently, he came to the conclusionit was time to let go.
Remains the original numbers matching 383 with the original transmission. I have verifiedthe numbers & documented thru photos. The car is running & driving, shifts & brakes. Some old records shown the entire engine was rebuilt in the 80's. I recently added a new fuel pump & rebuilt the carburetor. Tires are old, belts are old - little work needs to be done to get it a daily driver but she does move quick. The miles are said to be original bu no documentation. Lights, Reverse light works including tach.
Remains most of the original Petty Blue paint. Looks as thepassengerside fender was painted before but its the original fender. Spot painted in a couple small spots.Still retains the original stripes and man does it have a patinathat cant be reproduced. I have professionallyhad the entire car polished and brought it back to life.
Solid original panel body. Original Petty Blue paint on the underside, solid AZ car that has a really honestbody. The interior is complete and original. Driver side chair showing wear, along with rear driver side tear.
A Los Angeles Built car and I was SUCCESSFULof finding partial of the build sheet under the passengerside front bench (thats rare alone lol). Many guys say its nearly impossible to find a Broadcast sheet from LA. Remains the original fender tag, vin plate, vin on trunk lip & original decals. Along with owners manualpacket. I do have a photo of the original owners information with the vin attached to it matching the last names proving its been in the family since day one. Clear Arizona title which matches to everything.
I do have a 100+ detail photos. Just text me anytime & ill send whatever you need to see. I can also send over the Galen report.
This Roadrunner is an original car that has never been taken apart or restored. Remain with the original family for 50+ years. I would leave it alone and show it off at Car shows in this condition.______________________________________
