Car description

This 1972 Plymouth Duster looks mean from every angle. And when you look under the big-scoop hood, there's ferocious V8 power. So dig into all the details on how they invested nicely to create your dream street/strip machine. It takes the right car to earn a black as slick as this. It's a paintjob that shows confidence because the black is purely intimidating. And the way the light rolls off the smooth panels signals to everyone... that there was a lot of time and money invested to get it looking so good. We understand exactly why this coupe is worth giving extra attention. The Duster has the lightweight advantage of a small car, but Plymouth also gave it some substantial style. You see it in the wide front end and curvaceous rear fenders. Plus, we love the full contrasting white package that includes the full-length stripe, rear fender callouts, and white rear panel. Plus, that massive hood scoop and Center Line drag wheel (with meaty rear tires) says to the world that this one is ready to go fast. The interior continues the pure performance look with the full racing cage, racing bucket seats, and full racing harnesses. The Grant GT sports steering wheel feels grippy in your hands, and the Turbo Action Cheetah SCS is built for serious duty. Plus, you have a full auxiliary readout trio and large AutoMeter AutoGauge tach on the column so you always know what's going on in the engine bay. Under the hood lives a beautiful beast. This is fully-built Robert Forbs 340 cubic-inch V8. That means it has been enhanced and fortified with Eagle rods, Diamond pistons (11:1 compression), Indy 360-1 heads, solid roller billet cam, T&D rockers, Indy intake, Trend Performance pushrods, roller lifters w/cage bearings, and a Pro System racing four-barrel carburetor. It makes terrific power, and the thunder from the TTI headers feeding the racing dual exhaust really lets the world know it. Plus, you have the right supporting components, like an MSD ignition and an aluminum radiator. The three-speed transmission with reverse valve body feeds a reinforced 4.55 rear end with limited-slip and exudes confident and powerful take-offs. As you're looking at that rear end, you'll also spot traction bars and adjustable coilovers. There's also plenty of grip with disc brakes up front and wide Hoosier tires in the rear. The sale comes with build receipts and the original buildsheet. This is a seriously mean-looking Mopar that knows how to deliver all the power to back up its appearance. Call now!
