Up for auction is a cool 1948 Plymouth business coupe. Body solid with an old repaint showing chips scratches and couple dingers. Exterior chrome and stainless prett good shape. Has extra grill pieces and a passenger front fender trim replacement due to current one having dent. Interior appears to have been done in 80's when paint was done, still very presentable. Drivetrain is original flat 6 3 on the tree. Clutch feels good. Car runs strong but could use a tune up. Exhaust was redone from manifold back using a glasspack muffler giving it a poppy sound. Cars runs cool and maintains good oil pressure. There is a nice set of old Stewart Warner gauges under dash and an oil pressure gauge on motor. Original speedo works. Has guide accessory day night mirror and guide turning signal setup. Blinkers all work as well as all lights including hood ornament light. Car was rewired at some point and is 12v. Suspension has been lowered by front coil cut and few rear leafs removed and blocked. Steering tight. Almost new 5.60-15 Coker whitewalls. New steel gas tank. New hard brakelines. Original braking system. Doors close tight car is not a rattlebox. All glass good, intact, and properly functioning door glass Car starts right up, drives, and stops fine. Great little cruiser ready to take to next level. Have new unpainted fiberglass skirts for it. The bad: has cancer in driver floorboard under carpet and someone covered with tin. Rest of car solid. No exterior rust or cancer that I've seen. May entertain trade offers. Pre 1960 only.
