Car description |
---|
99% of the car is original, minus new tires and a new starter. The transmission is push button, works terrifically. The car glides down the street and turns damn near every head it passes, like a black fedora on wheels.
225 Slant 6 engine, not the Hemi. However, this could possibly be the sleeper someone is looking for. It's been great for Sunday drives with my wife and kids, the ride is super smooth, handles very well.No power steering or anti-lock breaks, of course.
The car didn't come with a radio or A/C.
The paint is 100% original. No clear coat, no touch ups. There are surface scratches (not to metal). One very small dent on the chrome trim. I had the car for 3 years before I noticed it. There is some rust on the underside of the car and in the base of the trunk. None of the car is "rusted out" or rusted through. A grinder could take care of the trunk.
Comes with 2 sets of keys. 2 mats. No owner's manual, unfortunately.

I'm selling my 1964 Plymouth Belvedere, 4-door slant 6. This car has been garage kept since it was purchased by my great-grandmother in 1964. She put approximately 21xxx miles on it before it was given to my grandfather in 1991. In 1996, it was given to my father, and in 2014 it was given to me. It turns out I'm not the car lover I thought I would be when I got it, and there's no one else in the family who wants it, so...
