For sale is this 1964 Plymouth Valiant V8 / 273 V 200 Serie Automatic trans / 3 Speed, Beautifu, very nice condition low mileage, blue pain, this car overall is in very good condition, no leaks, no engine or trans proble, drives strong and smooth, has a very soft steering system, the car has almost everything original from factory, a few things were updated like the cd player with the new speakers & Bluethoth, the car was repainted but the painter did not do a very good job on it, it has some bad spots, nothing major but is not the way it was supposed to be done (mint), the odometer says 77+ thousand miles but it's difficult to find out if they are the real mileage, due to that Carfax started in 1981 and from there all the way back there is not way to find out the exact mileage in any old Car, the interior it's in very good condition, all the windows work properly, no rust underneath, it has a few spots that the rust is starting to shows up, easy to fix, ( please see pictures for details ) the tires are around 80%, to 85 %,, lights all work perfectly, the horn works, windshields wipers works as well, No A/C. !!! The Plymouth Valiant is an automobile which was manufactured by the Plymouth division of the Chrysler Corporation in the United States from the model years of 1960 through 1976. It was created to give the company an entry in the compact car market emerging in the late 1950s. The Valiant was also built and marketed, without the Plymouth name, worldwide in countries including Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Mexico, New Zealand, South Africa, Sweden and Switzerland, as well as other countries in South America and Western Europe. It became well known for its excellent durability and reliability, and was one of Chrysler's best-selling automobiles during the 1960s and 1970s, essentially keeping the company afloat during its hard economic times.
Thank you.
On Jul-08-19 at 18:16:26 PDT, seller added the following information:The first LA was the 273, with a two barrel carb, producing 180 gross hp. Introduced to Americans in 1964, it had a thin-wall casting and simpler wedge-heads and valves, which saved around 50 pounds over the existing A-series V8. The 273 ended up being only fifty pounds heavier than the 225-cid slant six. In 1965, a four-barrel carb and high performance cam could push that up to 235 hp; and, in 1966, a limited edition 273 with a 700 cfm carb and .500" lift cam put out 275 hp.
