Car description

  • Electrical: New wiring harness - all connections soldered. New lights, alternator, regulator, electronic ignition, RetroSound Bluetooth radio w/Ipod and USB inputs. LED headlights, tail lights, marker lights, dash lights, and turn signals. 20 circuit fusebox with mini fuses.
  • Brakes: Front spindles are from 1973 Duster and are the large sliding caliper type. Entire hydraulic system is new. Master cylinder, calipers, lines, power brake cylinder, emergency brake cables, rear brake cylinders, shoes and springs.
  • Power train: 318 v8 bored .030. Keith Black Pistons. Very mild Crane camshaft. Edelbrock 1406 electric choke carburetor and aluminum intake. All new components except block, heads, oil pan, crankshaft, and valve covers. Rebuilt A-904 transmission with rebuilt stock torque converter. Rebuilt 8.75 Sure Grip differential with 3.23 gears. Hooker headers and 2.5' JEGS exhaust system. New aluminum radiator. New alternator, power steering pump and A/C compressor. New A/C condensor and flexible lines. New heater core, hoses and belts.
  • Interior: New seat padding and covers for all seats. Front bucket seats are from 1973 Dodge Challenger. New door panels, kick panels, headliner, ALL NEW weatherstripping, radio speakers, carpet and floor soundproofing. New windshield, window and door handles, armrests, and rollers on window mechanisms. New 3 point seat belts.
  • Paint and Body: body was sand blasted to bare metal and all defects were repaired. When I bought this car it was relatively rust free, and no major panels were replaced. Primed on the inside and underneath with etching primer. I did not do the body work or painting of this car. This was the ONLY part of the restoration that I did not personally do. It was repainted with basecoat/clearcoat finish in correct 1968 Mopar Electric Blue. The car was originally Matador red with a white vinyl top and interior. All of the original trim was reused. There are two small dents on the top trunk lid trim that I could not repair and I could not find a replacement for the existing piece.
  • Suspension: QA-1 control arms and strut rods. Borgeson 12:1 Power Steering Box. 1.25" Hotchkiss front sway bar. Stock Shock absorbers. Rebuilt 5 leaf rear springs. All suspension bushings are new. Hotchkiss rear sway bar. 15x8 wheels on rear and 15x7 wheels on front.
  • I have the original build sheet, aluminum warranty card, original and reproduction owners manuals, and last title before I got the car. There is much more that I did not describe. It is basically a new car. THIS CAR IS SOLD "AS-IS" WITH NO WARRANTY.
