Car description

Here for sale is my 1960 Plymouth Fury 2 door hardtop. It is not concourse (hence the asking price), however it is a well-done example of an original. I consider it to be a slightly restored survivor. It has the rare Automatic Swivel Seats (see video), the Golden Commando 361 V8 and the chrome trim accessory package with the grille guard, skirts and front wheel opening décor, as well as push button transmission selector, power brakes and power steering. The driver's side swivel seat is not working due to a broken bowden cable connection.

It runs, drives, handles, brakes beautifully and has no signs of rust-out. Solid floors, rockers, etc. I bought the car three years ago and spared no expense on a full NOS interior (minus door panels since they are in great shape). Aerowheel rectangular steering wheel was recast correctly with gold glitter. All plastic pieces are in tact or correctly replaced, including the original headliner. I even had the original kick pad in the front floorboard sewn into the new carpet. The Plymouth ship embossment was recreated in the front seat back. Dash pad and armrests were reformed as well. I had the pot metal pieces rechromed, as well as the bumpers. The stainless is in good shape. The headlight rings are excellent with no dents. All headlights match and are old NOS GE sealed beams. I replaced the tires with exact replicas of the Goodyears it originally had.

The front suspension, brakes and transmission, carb, heater core, heater water control valve have all been rebuilt or replaced since I have had the car. The engine was rebuilt at some point prior to my buying it and seems strong with little to no oil use and no smoke.

I have another project that forces this sale.
