Car description

FOR SALE! 1970 Barracuda Gran Coupe 383 automatic 1 of 945 built. I have always LOVED the E-Body Mopar cars. ESPECIALLY the hard to find Gran Coupe models!I bought car in 2007.This car was featured in Mopar Muscle Magazine August 2010 Rare Finds!
The car runs and drives, starts and stops. The engine is the original Matching numbers 383 the car was born with in 1970. The engine and suspension were rebuilt before I bought the car. Car has around 5000 miles on since they were rebuilt. Car has approx 128000k miles. I had the transmission and carb rebuilt last fall only about 500 miles on them. (trans is not matching numbers)
The car has new motor and transmission mounts. It has Factory exhaust manifolds (not headers) I had a new aluminum coated dual exhaust installed shortly after I bought the car. It does not have many miles on it since. Car has a new 3 core aluminum radiator.
All of the wiring from headlights to taillights is new M&H wiring new gas tank, new gas tank sending unit. Good tires Cooper Cobra raised white letter with 15" Mopar Rallye wheels that have been restored.
Interior is all new Legendary Interiors factory leather, new dash pad new headliner with rare factory overhead console (wiring not hooked up) new carpet, and factory floor console all gauges and dash lights work. Has 3-speed windshield wipers that work. Glass is intact with no cracks or breaks. The windows roll up and down. Has new door seals.
Body and paint was done a couple years ago and has minimal miles since. It is in the factory Rallye red with a new black vinyl top. The front floors have been replaced. Car has good frame rails. Trunk is solid but was coated with tinted Bed liner material. Rear quarter panels were replaced before I bought the car. Car has new chrome bumpers front and rear. The grille was restored and painted with factory colors.
I wouldn't be afraid to drive car anywhere. This car is an absolute head turner. It get smiles, thumbs up, and pictures taken wherever it goes. The car goes down the road straight and transmission shifts smoothly. I had a wheel alignment done. Has an 8 3/4' rear end.
The new radiator keeps it running cool but the car also includes an original radiator and fan shroud (the included radiator needs to be recored)
Have factory Gran Coupe rocker panel mouldings trunk and quarter mouldings exclusive to Gran Coupe and new radio antenna that aren't installed yet but are included.
I have not spare any expense on this car. This will save you a ton of work vs buying an unrestored car for $20-$30K and having to do everything I did. Save a ton of $ and enjoy this one right away! I described the few minor things it will need. Sure beats buying one that needs everything top to bottom!
$500 deposit due immediately after sale. Full payment due in 7 days. Car is located just outside of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Car is sold as is, where is. You are responsible for pickup or transport. You are more than welcome to come inspect the car in person before you buy! Please do not bid if you are not serious about purchase or do not have the funds available to do so.
I have described to the best of my abilities. Be sure to view all pics and email with any questions you may have before you buy. I have poured my heart into this car for the past 12 years and want it to get a great new home! I hope you enjoy it for many years to come! Thank you Doug
