Here it is...Your chance to own one of the coolest Mopars ever made. Not only is it one of the coolest cars ever produced, it is super rare-with only 247 ever being made....how many could be left?
Lets start with saying that it is an all original car. It has the 360 motor with auto trans and limited slip (posi) rear. The car has power brakes, power steering, A.C., and cruise control. This is a true Kit Car- with a TON of paperwork.
The Kit Car has been off the road since 1999- so it is in need of a restoration. Anything rubber needs to be replaced. I had the gas tank cleaned, installed a new fuel pump and cleaned out the carb-and it fired right up! It actually runs pretty good considering it has been sitting for a long time. All of the fluids will need to be changed. The trans moves in forward and reverse, but I have not driven it. Brakes are holding, but again it needs all fluids changed. The car itself has 97k original miles.
The Body: Outside- the body is in good shape. I can see metal patch panels but it is overall in good shape. The trunk is also in really good shape. The floors have been patched up. The worse part of the car is the drivers frame rail and floor pan-this is a very common problem with F Body cars. I got a couple of prices for the rail and pan and you are looking at around $150.
Interior: The interior is all original and is in need of a restoration. Front seats have rips, and the back is in good shape. The door panels are good, as well as the rear ones. Carpet and head liner will need to be replaced.
The Kit Car has all 5 of the original rims. This is a big plus with these cars. I also have the original air breather that will go with the car, not the chrome one that is shown in the pictures.
If you are looking for a Kit Car, this car is priced right! If you change the fluids and filters in the motor and trans, change the belts and hoses, plugs, and wires, I think you could drive the car as you restore it-or-give it the full resto and have one bad ass Mopar.
I have tried to tell you everything that I can about the car. I am a straight shooter so if you have any questions please call me anytime, 908 461 92 one one-- Jimmy.
The Kit Car is being sold in "As IS" condition and there will be no refunds. Again, call me, ask all the questions you can think of, this way you have an idea of what you will be buying. Hey... text me if you want. Good Luck with the bid, it is a kick ass car and will be even better when you start working on it.
You have to contact me within 24 hours of winning the bid in order to arrange pickup
