Here we have a 1969 Plymouth Road Runner for sale. One of the most loved Mopars to ever terrorize the road this car will be the talk of your town. It features the Matching Number Engine and Trans and is also done in the factory Black and White Color combo which is an option you don't see very often. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, interior, and driveline of this Mopar, but first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers. To contact us for more information, pictures, or any questions call our office at (865)988-8088 or visit our SmokyMountainTraders website.
We will start off with the exterior of this '69. The body on this car is phenomenal with excellent fit of all the panels. It's laser straight down the sides with all the gaps being even and symmetrical. It's been redone in the factory Black and White color combo that we just alluded to and the paint has been buffed and polished to a mirror finish that slick as a ribbon. The vinyl top is in excellent condition with a phenomenal fit. Both bumpers appear to have been replaced along with a lot of the other chrome and stainless. What hasn't been replaced in great condition along with all the glass. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15" Magnum 500 Wheels with Firestone Wide Oval Tires.
Next, we will look at the interior of this Road Runner. On the inside it follows suite with the exterior being done in the Two Tone Black and white color combination. It features buckets seats and console with the automatic shifter. Looking at the dash you can see that it all looks like it would have when new in '69. The speedo, gas gauge, and tach are working like they should and even the factory style radio is working. The dash pad is in excellent condition along with the door panels. Also, the seat covers are in phenomenal condition with great padding. You can also see the carpet and headliner have an excellent fit. In the trunk everything is solid and it comes with a trunk mat.
Finally, we will look at the driveline of this Mopar. Under the hood it's powered by the Matching Numbers 383 that's set up with the correct Edelbrock intake with an Edelbrock Carb. Under the hood of this Road Runner looks like a blast from the past with a gorgeous detail. It has painted valve covers and the Road Runner 383 Breather. This '69 does come with Power Steering and Disc Brakes on the Front. When you look under it all the floors and frame look to be stock and rock solid. The 383 engine is mated to the matching numbers 727 Trans and the 8 " Rear End with a 3.23 Gear. For exhaust it has manifolds with dual pipes and flow master mufflers.
