Here is a really nice 1949 Plymouth Business Coupe.This car is rust free and straight. All gaps are good. 42,952 actual mileage. In 1995 the car was bought with 41,260 miles, then came the restore.There are1500 miles on the car since the current owner bought it and restored it.No scratches dents or dings only very minor fault may be found. There is almost no pitting in the chrome which is shiny. Paint is good. The car is clean in, out and under. Appears numbers matching. Straight flat head 6 cylinder engine and three on the tree manual shift, with original 6 volt system. The fuel pipe has been recessed into the body and covered by a conventional fuel door. It flows with the body. A working "Plymouth" high mounted stop lamp....really cool. The whole dash itself has been fabricated to look as new as well as all interior trim. And it does. All finished in wood. All interior is new. Under the hood is a 217 cid flat head six. It has a custom chrome fan shroud/dam and a lot of dress up. It also has a chrome battery cover and heater exchange box. all chromed and more.Custom alloy wheels. Rubber is deep on the tires.The car shows very well. I would not call it a 10 trailer queen, but it's almost too nice to drive..... but It is a driver I guess.. the man who restored this vehicle is a master craftsman and the car shows the fruits of his labor.The quality shows thru out.
