Car description |

Farm Fresh - 1971 Plymouth Satellite Sebring 318 V8, auto trans (904), non power drum brakes, power steering, AM radio, turns on but no antenna and not sure on speaker condition. A/C car and it's all there, i haven't messed with it, I know the vacuum lines will need replaced (dried out) haven't tested or worked on blower motor.
I believe this car to have 25K original miles - was sitting for a long time in eastern OK. Prior to starting this project the car has sat since 1982 (have title and tags from previous owner to show millage back in 82).
Car runs and drives good now - i have personally drove this car well over 500 miles since getting it back on the road. 1 hour road trips to car shows and cruise nights no problem!
new brakes, tires, motor didn't need much, wiring is all good and intact, fuel tank, carb rebuilt, new fuel pump, radiator and water pump were all good, replaced alternator and voltage reg. runs down the highway 70 mph no problem, 180 degrees with 50 psi oil pressure.
all lights works, wipers ect, windows roll up and seal good, oil pressure, coolant temp, and amp gauge all work - i added digital gauges for oil pressure and water temp to get more accuracy to verify engine operating condition.
plug wires and heater hoses that i removed are all date coded, i have the originals. found 3 build sheets under the seats (2 of them for this car, 1 was not) included with the car, data plate still in place on the inner fender.
i swapped out the trans (from a 69 Coronet) but numbers matching 904 trans goes with it - 1st and 2nd gear was slipping.
new drivers side floor pan, passengers side just had pin holes fixed with fiberglass floor was solid enough to use without replacement, 18" Boss wheels new tires 8.5" front 9.5" rear.
what's left to do, needs heater core, dash lights don't work, steering gear box is looser than i would like, needs trunk pan or at least drivers side 1/2, door hinge drivers side could use repair, side marker light lenses are broken, front windshield laminate is separating (typical for 47 years old), speedo bounces around, needs lubricated.
doors, fenders, roof, quarters, frame rails, hood, trunk all solid.
trunk pan is rusted out on left side (see pic) I haven't replaced that yet, i saw a 1/2 dollar size rust hole in the cowl under the dash, rust hole on inner fender from battery acid (1/2 a plam size), but tray is fine(?), small rust hole dime size in corner of trunk gutter, i suspect possible rust under windshield trim.
fun to drive and get's a lot of attention - don't want to sell but need to.
Clean and clear Arkansas title in hand.
