1968 Plymouth Road Runner 2-Door Hardtop, 1 of 108, Rare Matador Red, Original 426 Hemi w/ 4-Speed Manual was taken out and put on a 4-wheel roller cart (that you can start the motor anytime with the turn of a key)! Currently replaced with a brand new528 Hemi Gen III (labeled w/ a 426 sticker to appear factory) w/ automatic transmission. 3.54 Dana 60 Rear End.
The original 426 Hemi on the 4-wheel cart roller stand by itself is worth $25,000-30,000! This Roadrunner has been VIN decoded & documented by “Galen Govier” (document including in image gallery).Previously owned by “Ed Belfour” a professional star hockey player. Since then, I’ve invested over $150,000 including the cost of the car. NO EXPENSES SPARED! Only 728 Miles since additions.
It has been meticulously maintained, always stored in heated/climate control garage. Washed and covered after every drive, oil changed every before and after storage w/ Valvoline Full Synthetic. Additions / Modifications performed by a certified installer / mechanic. Every inch of the car was inspected and gone through thoroughly.
