REAL BARN FIND 1970 SUPERBIRD SUPER COMMANDO 440 HP ENGINE ALL ORIGINAL !!!
Real Original1970 Plymouth Superbird 440 HP Super Commando Engine w 4 Spd Clutch and Flywheel Assembly.Superbird Engine Number # 0A173771.
Prior owner advised that it came out of 1970 Superbird in the early 80s with only 6000 miles! Superbird was involved in an accident. Engine numbers correspond with correct 1970 Superbird Vin number (See Picture). Unknown location of Superbird it came out of or if it still even exists. Engine was removed from the Superbird in the 80s and stored in the box pictured in a Wisconsin barn.
Engine is completely original from Carter Carb to Oil pan (Air Cleaner also included) with original fan belts (I do not have the original fan). Inspection under valve covers appears to be in great condition. Engine appears to have no damage but does come to a sticking when trying to turn by hand. I didn't want to apply too much torque so plugs were removed and cylinders are soaking in mystery oil.
Engine is located at a relatives house in Racine Wisconsin. It can be strapped to a pallet for shipping.
This is sold where-is, as-is with no expressed or implied warranties. Deposit is non-refundable and personal inspection is recommended prior to bidding. Thank You
