Car description

UPDATE: I HAVE MADE THIS AN AUCTION AS IT MUST BE SOLD AND RESERVE IS A BIT LOWER THAN BUY IT NOW SO BID QUICKLY AND YOU MAY JUST OWN THIS GREAT CAR.....

I have for sale a nice 72 Plymouth Satellite 4 spee, original air grabber hood (complete and working), 3.23 8 3/4 posi w/ 10" brakes - originally set up with a '68 440, it's previous owner blew the engine and parked it. It is an original 318 auto car but was properly changed over to 4 speed with correct steering column and pedals & It is complete and ready to be refreshed with a new engine. Its swoopy lines made it a natural for Richard Petty to win many NASCAR races and wow the street crowd with it's F4 Phantom jet plane looks...... Will make a nice driver as is or restore to top quality to suit your tastes. I have everything to put it back together including the 4 speed trans, flywheel, bell, fork, z bar, radiator, Air grabber air cleaner base, headers, big block driveshaft, pulleys, brackets, alternator, wiring, and more. It is a real eye catcher! All Black- Nothing looks as sinister as an all black car...... Will need headliner/carpet/ front seat covers from sitting. Has Nice dash pad & rallye dash though as the parts were purchased up North. For a 72, the parts are rare and it has a lot of great parts on it to make a great car- The grille, tail lights, and rear bumper are mint - not dented or rotted- and also has a nice dual exhaust rear valance- front valance is nice too. Right fender is a rare radio delete fender by the absence of an antenna and no, it wasn't welded shut. Doors are nice and fenders good. Floors /frame are good. Not rotted around the windows like they normally do. The car itself is mostly clean and straight. Would make a nice clone for Roadrunner GTX. It has been optioned out with the following added on parts:
*Air grabber hood assy- ORIGINAL
*Roadrunner seats buckets no console*Strato-vent (original to car)
*HD Cooling pkg w Modine radiator
*front and rear sway bars
*3.23 posi 8 3/4 rear
*gull wing spoiler- 70 type
*HD hemi leaf springs
*HD hemi torsion bars
*Front disc brakes -manual disc brakes w/ 10" drums in the rear
*Rallye dash *Nice dash pad from up North- no cracks- HARD TO FIND*Nice windshield pillar interior trim plastics- HARD TO FIND AND NOT REPRODUCED AS OF YET
*4 Speed conversion- includes trans, bell, flywheel, fork, z bar, shifter adapter plate, shifter rods/tabs, Hurst shifter and pistol-grip with boot and ring
*Power steering
*dual sport painted rallye mirrors- correct 71-2 type
*Roadrunner door panels (in nice shape i might add)
*dual exh rear valance- original

And for another $6500 i will include a fresh '75 440 engine, Fully machined block- hot tanked/freeze plugs/cam bearings, 10.5-1 KB pistons/30 over with moly rings, 10/10 undersize forged crank and balancer, Clevite bearings, resized rods, 509 cam, Torker intake,M/T valve covers, HV oil pump & hd pump/distributor driv, Edelbrock 600 lift springs, 452 heads w/ 3 angle valve job w/ hd locks and teflon seals, high capacity oil pan & pickup, alum water pump housing ass, ARP hardware, billet distributor and MSD wires, Holley 850dp carb, Holley HP fuel pump, and more- will be ready to fire. Easy 500 horsepower and will run on pump gas 93
Car does not run at the moment and will need to be transported at buyer's expense....
Think of the stuff you WON'T have to buy if you're in the market for one of these cars- air grabber $2500, rallye dash and harness $500, dash pad another $500, go wing $200, floor shift column $250, 4 speed setup $4500, 8 3/4 rear with posi $2000, sway bars, $350-400, disc brakes $500, tail lights which are typically trashed $300-40, bucket seats, $300-500, nice door panels, 400-500, and so on and so forth....if you went out and bought a Satellite and then bought all this other stuff you'd be way over what I'm asking, and that's an understatement....
Car needs to go this week so make a **respectable offer **- RESERVE IS LOWER THAN BUY IT NOW PRICE SO BID AWAY!! i will be putting it back together with a fresh engine and trans to make it running and driving if it doesn't sell and then ask a lot more for it- it really should be fixed as it is a great car and not a rust bucket and I've made the price attractive for someone looking for a nice muscle car project........ we can help with delivery as i know of a few trucking companies...I can also deliver within 200 miles / surrounding areas / FL for $1.50/mile with buy it now price- would prefer you come and get it though... Please, if you're far away, consider that shipping charges are a given and are the buyer's responsibility, and is not a point of contention to lower the price. Buyer pays all shipping charges
