Car description

Motor is 318 cubic inch with a Weiand aluminum intake and 4 barrel carb. Rear end is an 8 1/4 in differential. I think. It is not the Shuregrip. Brakes work well. I have not had them looked at or serviced since I've owned the car. The shocks were replaced about 2 years ago. The fuel tank was replaced about 4 years ago. I've owned the car for approximately 8 years. I might have driven it a total of 200 miles if I'm lucky. I spent more time working on it and making improvements than I ever did driving it. Never had time to drive and enjoy the car and probably will not in the future. I've always kept it serviced and fresh fuel in the tank. Car runs down the road pretty smoothly with no vibration or shimmy even at 100mph. It handles pretty well on curves and turns for a car of its age and size. The motor runs smooth and strong and seems to have little more power than what I'd expect from a 318. I get a lot of compliments when I drive the car with the Plum Crazy purple finish. Sometimes I attract more attention from people than I have time for when I decide to drive it. You definitely won't blend into traffic with it. As I've said before. nbsp; the finish is not show room condition by any means. It still looks pretty good but was not done properly. If I were to keep it I would have it completely stripped and painted properly by a reputable body shop. I can supply more photos by request if need be. Horn. lights. and turn signals work properly. Dual exhaust system is good and solid and appeared to be fairly new when I purchased the car. It makes a nice tone when running. All belts. nbsp; hoses and fuel lines were replaced after I purchase the car. I replaced the standard instrument cluster with a rally one. All gauges work properly-temperature. il pressure. nbsp; ect. The car drips a little oil on the garage floor after driving it once in a while. Not exactly sure where it is coming from. The transmission shifts through all gears smoothly. I've never had it serviced. Probably would be a good idea at some point. however. Please keep in mind that this car is 42 years old! I've done my best to describe the good and bad to the best of my ability. I offer no warranties or guarantees either expressed or implied to whoever purchases this vehicle. Its in good mechanical condition now as far as I now. Once you purchase and pay for it. its your baby. If you've never owned a classic car keep in mind they will always require repair and maintenance at certain intervals for the time you own it. If you are not prepared for this the situation can turn into a love hate relationship in a hurry. Also keep in mind that shop labor is about $100 an hour at least where I live. If you don't wrench on your own vehicles repairs can get expensive fast. I buy more off EBAY than I will ever sell. I don't like selling things to people sight unseen for fear of leaving out certain details about the item. I don't want someone to feel that I took advantage of them through a business transaction. So if you have any questions about the car I can be reached at 308-672-6125. My name is Kelly. Two things I forgot to mention is I repaired some cracks in the dash pad and repainted it. I made it look better but cracks are very noticeable. Also drivers side window rolls up a little too far so you need to adjust it accordingly before closing the door. Some work needs to be done on the crank mechanism holding window in place.
